Frequently Asked Questions

The lessons will be provided at my private pool at home. I have a side entrance that can be utilized when you arrive for your lesson. Please be there on time and ready to begin the lesson. If you would like me to come to your home the price is double  for any program or refresher class.  I will travel to you if you are 15 minutes from my location. If it's more than 15 minutes I may decline to offer you my service or charge you extra if we both agree to proceed. 

If you start at my location but then decide that would like me to come to your pool, you will have to pay an additional $32 per day. This is only feasible if I have openings in the schedule. 

If I start at your pool  and then you decide to come to me for whatever reason, you will still pay the additional $28 per day since the time for travel was allocated to you instead of signing up another student for that time. 

The registration fee is $50. This is non refundable if you change your mind after registration. If something happens and this prevents you from proceeding on time, please reach out and talk to me. This applies either if you come to my location or if I g to your home. 

According to Red Cross Guidelines, infants 6 months and up can start swimming lessons. Swimming has an incredible positive effect on an infant's physical and mental development.

My suggestion is to start when your child sits up and rolls on his own for some time.  

Yes, fear will show up during the swimming lessons and especially during the first few. This is normal. Remember, we all get scared, frustrated or just not feel up to doing or learning a new task. It gets better as we get the hang of it.

For the  Infant Aquatics®  program to be successful, it requires a commitment from the parents both from a time aspect as well as financially. My services are offered in a package format and are intended to give enough sessions to be successful in the end.  With that said, children are different. If you child needs another week, another weekly payment will be charged. To secure your spot please send the registration fee at least 4 weeks in advance, please ask me how via text  # 561-568-2343. The full payment for the program is due on the first day of the session. 

Learning to swim is not much different than for a baby to learn walking. Remember that every child is different, some learn quick and for some it takes a little longer. It is important to be patient and let the natural progression of learning to be achieved. If your child requires more time than that specified in the package, additional weekly fees will be added.

Absolutely, if it's a matter of time conflict for that day and if the schedule allows it for that day, but please don't make a habit  out of it.  Your time is valuable, so is mine. If you have planned vacation time during the program, do not start the program. It is imperative to stick to the schedule so your child can achieve the program's goal. 

All non-weather related cancellations require a 24hr notice to the instructor, otherwise the lesson will be forfeited. Lessons canceled due to weather will be rescheduled at no charge. 

Please do not start this program unless you are fully committed to complete it.  Once your child begins and you decide to withdraw, there is no refund since the time for that sessions was allocated to you. With that said, if unforeseen events happen please reach out and speak with me. 

Please do not engage in this activity unless discussed prior to beginning of the program. I will videotape some lessons of your child and share them with you. Also, if you are to do this, it may be distracting for your child which will take away from the lesson time. 

Please have your child in the neoprene swim diaper the cost of which is $28. It is reusable and is made of a special material that prevent leaks, does not absorb water and protects the baby against fast temperature drop. In case the child does not have it and a contamination of the water occurs, a $300 pool contamination fee will be charged in the event of pool closure since i will have to cancel all the students for a 24 hr period. 

The reason for recommending refresher classes is simple. As your child grows and changes physically,  their center of gravity is shifting. In addition, their head to body weight ratio is  changing as well. Due to these physical changes, their ability to float and/or swim, float and back to swim will be affected. Plus, they don't develop just physically, their cognitive and emotional abilities are flourishing day by day.
