The focus of the program is to teach the child to roll onto their back to float, rest and breathe, and to be able to maintain this life-saving position until help arrives. The program is set to have 4 weeks with Monday through Thursday 10 minutes each day at the same time.
The goal is teaching the swim-float-swim survival sequence. Children learn to swim with their head down; roll onto their back to float, rest, and breathe; and roll back over to resume swimming until they reach the side of the pool, where they can either crawl out or until they can be rescued. The program is 6 weeks Monday through Thursday 10 minutes each day at the same time.
As kids grow and develop from infants to toddlers and young children refresher lessons are periodically encouraged so they can fine-tune their existing swimming skills. This refresher lesson is very important if your child has not been practicing his aquatic survival skills in some time. This class is only one week Monday through Thursday 10 minutes each day. You may take as many as you need or want.
If you change your mind and don't want your child to take lessons after registration, this fee is non refundable.
Give your child the chance to learn this survival skill. It's essential .
